Swedish Metal 'Supergroup' POWERHOUSE Covers MICHAEL JACKSON's 'Thriller' (Audio)
December 19, 2010POWERHOUSE, the new Swedish "supergroup" featuring current/former members of KING DIAMOND, HAMMERFALL and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, has posted its cover version of the MICHAEL JACKSON classic "Thriller" at this location.
POWERHOUSE is:
* Magnus Rosén (ex-HAMMERFALL) - Bass
* Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) - Guitar
* Anders Johansson (HAMMERFALL, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) - Drums
* Mats Olausson (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) - Keyboards
* Mikael Ågren (ex-NOSTRADAMEUS) - Vocals, Guitar
The group has entered La Rocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden to begin recording what will eventually become the band's debut album for an early 2011 release.
La Rocque and Rosén previously collaborated in the X-WORLD/5 project, which issued its debut album, "New Universal Order", in North America in November 2008 via Locomotive Records. The group also included PAGAN'S MIND vocalist Nils K. Rue.
